A member of the Union of Russian Composers and the St. Petersburg Association of Concert Professionals. Laureate of International competitions.

Valery Uspensky

People’s Artist of Russia, Professor. Head of Academic Choir Department, St.Petersburg N.A.Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire. Valery Uspensky is head of Academic Choir Department at the St. Petersburg Conservatoire and directs the Students Choir. Member of the Presidium of All-Russian Choral Society, Honorary Rector of Khabarovsk State Institute of Culture and Arts, the permanent chairman of the jury of the International Choir Competition and vocal ensembles “The Singing World” named after Yuri Falik. Until recently conducted master classes with choirs around the world, the chairman of the jury of numerous international and national competitions. Valery Uspensky is organizer and artistic director of the I Youth Choral Festival, chamber and symphonic music, which was held from 24 to 29 November 2012 in St. Petersburg, and was dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the St. Petersburg Conservatory.

Conductor, composer. The Artistic Director of the Azuoliukas Boys’ and Men Choir, Professor of Choral conducting at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, President of the Lithuanian Choral Union. He lectured and held seminars on subject of Musical education and conducting in Lithuania and abroad — in the Czech Republic, Korea, Latvia, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Singapore, Italy, Poland, Philippines and etc. Mr. Miskinis worked as a member of Jury at International Choir and Choral Composition Competitions. He is awarded by many governmental and national prizes.

Professor, the head of conducting Department of the Latvian Academy of Music, the artistic director of WCG 2014 in Riga, principal conductor of the Latvian University female choir named “Minjona“, chief conductor and artistic director of Jāzeps Mediņš Music School boys’ choir, chairman of the Latvian National Commission for UNESCO, chief conductors of the All Latvian Song Celebration (in 1993, 1998, 2001, 2003, 2008 and 2013) and the Youth Song Festival (in 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015). Since August 2014 Romans Vanags is an Artistic director of INTERKULTUR (Germany) organization and also chairman of the Latvian choral conductors’ board. In 2008 received the highested civil decoration in Latvia — the Three Star Order.

Andrea Angelini

Andrea Angelini

Artistic Director and Conductor of the professional group Musica Ficta Vocal Ensemble. Director of the Rimini Community Choir, Alessandro Grandi. He has also conducted the Belarusian National Capella Choir, the Lithuanian Jauna Muzika Choir, the Latvian Ave Sol, the Ukrainian Ave Musica and the Tudor Consort from New Zealand. Dr. Angelini is the Artistic Director of the Choral Festival Voci nei Chiostri held annually in Rimini each spring. He has been member of the Jury at many International Choir’s Competitions in Italy, Europe and Asia. Mr. Angelini is also the artistic director of the Rimini International Choral Competition, of the Queen of the Adriatic Sea Choral Festival and Competition and of the Liviu Borlan Choral Festival.

Milan Kolena

Teaches choir conducting and Gregorian chant at VŠMU. Since 1998 Milan Kolena has been the Art Director of the International Sacred Music Choir Festival Námestovské hudobné slavnosti, Musica Sacra in Bratislava, Slovakia Cantat. He is active as a Jury member at national and international choral competitions in Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Slovakia. Since 2013 he is the president of the Slovak Choral Association.
